Her strange demonic antics began in 1906 when she gained the astonishing ability to levitate at will. This astonished her classmates—and it frightened the wits out of her fellow parishioners when she did it during services at her local church! They tried to pull her back down to her seat but discovered that whatever force had raised her up was intent on keeping her up. They were physically unable to pull her back down. But when the priest doused her with holy water, she immediately plummeted back down to the pew—which made it pretty obvious to the congregation that they were dealing with a case of demonic possession.
